Jamie Dimon: If any JPMorgan traders were trading the crypto-currency,  “I would fire them in a second, for two reasons: It is against our rules and they are stupid, and both are dangerous.”

JPMorgan CEO, Jamie Dimon had nothing good to say about Bitcoin this morning when interviewed at an investor conference.

Dimon further went on to say that the crypto is useful to drug dealers, murderers and people in North Korea and Venezuela.

 “It is worse than tulips bulbs…Don’t ask me to short it. It could be at $20,000 before this happens, but it will eventually blow up.”

Although, JPMorgan and many other institutional banks have invested in Bitcoin and other blockchain-based cryptocurrencies.

JPMorgan’s “Bitcoin-Alternative” Patent Rejected

In 2013, JPMorgan submitted a patent for a “Bitcoin-Alternative”. The patent has since been rejected 175 times.
